Edge devices to enable SIP to the enterprise. The products are available as full featured firewalls or as SIParators to work with existing firewalls. Each product allows the enterprise to place its Asterisk server behind the firewall and yet allow SIP to reach the PBX on the inside. The Ingate device resolves NAT traversal issues, normalizes SIP traffic between the IP-PBX and a SIP Trunking Service Provider and permits the enterprise to establish controls over the admission of SIP. Ingate's product can support from 5 to 1500 simultaneous sessions.
