Asteria Solutions Group is based in Huntsville, Alabama. The company was founded in 2004 to offer Asterisk consulting services to the small but rapidly growing community of Asterisk users. In addition to configuring Asterisk-based PBXs, Asteria has the software development, database design, networking, and telecom experience to build, deploy, and support custom applications. Asteria customer deployments include messaging and notification systems, custom IVRs, provisioning and activation systems, and conferencing platforms. Asteria offers both time and material and fix price engagement models.
Asteria also develops and markets commercial applications including:
Configurator, a web-based user interface designed to simplify configuring and maintaining Asterisk-based PBXs.
INsight / Assist, a call center application to support web-based data presentation for CSR call handling and supervision tools to monitor and assist agents.

Asteria’s ability to take us from the proof-of-concept stage of a custom vertical market PBX to a running prototype in less than 3 months convinced us we would continue development with them. Their in-depth knowledge of Asterisk, TDM hardware, configuration front ends, how to package software for distribution, and an intuitive understanding of our needs have helped us achieve our goals quickly and at minimal cost.
