Description
Digium's line of telephony cards are used by customers worldwide to build a variety of applications including gateways, PBXs, voicemail servers, conference bridges, and more. Simple integration with Digium's powerful Asterisk telephony toolkit allows users to quickly create any number of solutions.
The TE122 PCI card provides termination of up to 30 channels of voice or data across one E1, T1, or J1 interfaces in a PCI 3.3/5.0V form factor. Supporting 3.3/5.0V PCI 2.2+ slots, the TE122 may be used in any compatible slot type.
The TE122 may be combined with Digium's VPMADT032 DSP-based echo cancellation module. The VPMADT032 provides a G.168 algorithm which has been noted by AT&T labs for its echo cancellation and performs 128ms (1024 taps) of echo cancellation across all 30 channels in E1 mode or all 24 channels in T1/J1 modes.
Digium has designed the TE122 to be fully compatible and integrated with Asterisk Business Edition, AsteriskNOW, and open source Asterisk.
The TE122 supports industry standard telephony protocols including North American and European Primary Rate signalling as well as Robbed Bit, Channel Associated Signalling and standard PPP, HDLC, and Frame Relay data modes.
